Regardless of your backing preferences consider that according to official documents "Only Velcro® patches are authorized on the left and right sleeves of the OCP coat."

Aparently they do. However, the only direct reference to Air Force deployment patches we have found so far is on Reddit and it was made by an anonymous airmen under the username nomansland305. Nevertheless, if you meant Combat Patches, they are exclusive for the Army and are oficially called "shoulder sleeve insignia-former wartime service" (SSI-FWTS).
Combat Patches, officially called "shoulder sleeve insignia-former wartime service" (SSI-FWTS), are exclusive for soldiers of the U.S. Army. Although, according to Bryan Martyn (former Flight Officer at USAF from 1977 to 2001) answer in Quora if you served in the Army and earned a Combat Patch, and then served in the Air Force you could wear it in your uniform. This idea is reinforced by the answers of another military forum.
As rules on the proper use of patches on military uniforms are always changing the better source for this kind of official information we have found is the document called Dress and Personal Appearance of United States Air Force and United States Space Force Personnel (2022). There you can find the following paragraph:
"Airmen may wear the badges of other military services while permanently assigned to units that perform duties with another military service. Airmen may also continue to wear earned, permanently awarded Air Force and other services’ qualification badges that meet the criteria in paragraph 9.1, regardless of duty assignment." It depends on the type of patch. Some patches mean rank, others mean the unit/squadron or mission where the wearer have being assigned to. Award Patches identify officers that have earned a badge for a special skill, school Patches show the wearer have graduated or is an instructor of certain school. Morale Patches are maily used on the weekends or during special events and can help improve the mood or spirit.
Are you wondering "What Side does squadron patch go on? or What side does the air force patch go on?"
To better answer these questions and other we are going to refer to the latest official document about the subject: Dress and Personal Appearance of United States Air Force and United States Space Force Personnel (2022). According to this document patches placements depends on the type of uniform as follows:
1. Airman Battle Uniform (ABU) Patches Placements.
On the Pockets:
"Full size graduate patches will be worn and may only be worn on the pockets. Only permanently conferred graduate patches (i.e. USAF Weapons School Graduate Patch and USAF Test Pilot School Patch) may be worn."

Wearer's Left Side: “U.S. AIR FORCE” nametape
Wearer's Right Side: last name nametape
2. Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) Uniform Patches Placements
On the Right Sleeve (2 patches max.):
- U.S. flag patch (mandatory). Wear it centered at the top of velcro while in–garrison and deployed.
- Unit patch (mandatory). Wear it centered in the middle of the Velcro® area under the U.S. Flag.
- Morale Patches (optional). You can wear it during weekend drills on Friday, Saturday or Sundays or during special events, only when authorized by your commanders.
On the Left Sleeve (2 patches max.):
"The graduated commander’s insignia does not count as one of two patches i.e. it may be worn in addition to two patches."
- HHQ Patch (mandatory, with exceptions). Wear it centered in the middle of the Velcro area.
- USAF School Patches (graduate or instructor) are authorized on the left sleeve. In the place of HHQ, or if using both, graduate patches should be on top.
- Duty shields such as Inspector General and Security Forces are authorized on the left sleeve and will be centered at the top of the Velcro area
The following Authorized Duty Identifier Patches/Tabs have to be centered at the top of the Velcro® area.
3. Flight Duty Uniform

Yes, they do have Unit Patches.
As stated in this official document, about the use of Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) uniform:
"Organizational unit of assignment subdued spice brown color criteria patches are mandatory upon availability (non-unit entities such as Directorates, AF Elements are optional)"
